Sunnyfield's Ella is a spotted red and white paint heifer. Ella’s dam is Sunnyfield's Annie E and her sire is Prime Time. Annie's dam was Sunnyfield's 2004 cow named Red, and Annie's grand-dam is Katie (Sunnyfield's 1998 red and white paint cow). Katie was the direct granddaughter of the first red Zebu imported into the USA from Sweden! Sunnyfield owns many exceptional adult cows to heifers from this line.
Ella has a lot of cool spots and splashes throughout her coat. She is gentle and curious. She is our only remaining mini zebu, as our farm has transitioned to Highlands. She is registered through AMZA and can be registered through IMZA.

Otis is a standout in our herd — a true character with a personality as memorable as his size. He is a snow white, Chondro negative bull. He is expected to mature as a micro bull, staying under 36" (just under 30" as of 2dec2025). What makes him especially unique is that his small stature comes naturally through genetics, not through intentional breeding with chondro-positive parents. While his size presents challenges in finding heifers small enough for him to pair with, his gentle nature and lovable presence make him a favorite here at the ranch. Today, Otis shines in photography sessions and hands-on experiences, where his charm and approachable demeanor win over every visitor.
Purchased from Cyrus Ridge Farm in Virginia.

Roscoe is an AHCA registered steer, yellow in color and with really nice highlights. A steer isn't capable of reproducing (castrated male), but he comes with great bloodlines from LEA and Skye High, both known for excellent conformation and gentle temperament. Which means he should mature into a beautiful and gentle adult, ideal as a pasture buddy for your existing herd.

What makes Highland cattle special?
Highlands are one of the oldest registered cattle breeds, known for their long hair, gentle nature, and striking appearance. Their calm demeanor makes them excellent for both photography and family experiences.
Do you sell Scottish Highland cattle?
Yes. We occasionally have registered Highland cattle available for sale. Please contact us for information on current or upcoming availability. You can also check the 'Sale Barn' page.

Do Highland cattle have horns? Are they safe?
Yes, Highlands naturally have horns, but they are known for their gentle nature. With proper handling and supervision, they are safe for visitors to be around.
Do you offer meat sales in addition to live cattle?
While our primary focus is breeding and education, this is an area that we are actively exploring. Please check back periodically for updates.
