Countess is a stunning black beauty with whimsical red highlights out of Circle AM.  She possesses an intriguing personality-not seeking to be matriarch, yet never allowing herself to be pushed around.  She is quickly becoming a farm favorite!  We anticipate introducing her to the show ring in the summer of 2026.  Like many of our young and beautiful heifers, we anxiously await her breeding season for future calf stars!

Sunnyfield's Ella is a spotted red and white paint heifer. Ella’s dam is Sunnyfield's Annie E and her sire is Prime Time. Annie's dam was Sunnyfield's 2004 cow named Red, and Annie's grand-dam is Katie (Sunnyfield's 1998 red and white paint cow). Katie was the direct granddaughter of the first red Zebu imported into the USA from Sweden! Sunnyfield owns many exceptional adult cows to heifers from this line.

Ella has a lot of cool spots and splashes throughout her coat. She is gentle and curious. She is our only remaining mini zebu, as our farm has transitioned to Highlands. She is registered through both AMZA/IMZA.

Freya is a beautiful silver Highland heifer — a less common color that makes her stand out within our fold. Like her herdmate Piper, she came to us from Webb Cattle Co. and Circle AM and is also the result of embryo transfer technology. Though carried by an Angus cow, Freya is 100% purebred Highland, with strong genetics and a bright future ahead.

Shorter-bodied in build but brimming with personality, Freya quickly made her mark here at the ranch. Her curious nature and lively spirit make her a joy to be around, and we are confident that these traits, paired with her impressive pedigree, will shine through in her future calves.

With her rare coloring and spirited disposition, Freya brings both uniqueness and promise to Rohloff Ranch Highlands.

Lone is a gorgeous, mature silver Highland heifer with undeniable wow factor.  A rock-solid girl at approximately 1100 pounds, she carries her impressive size with exceptional overall conformation and a distinct natural grace.  We are thrilled to report that she is confirmed pregnant, with an expected calf due in August 2026. This pairing has us very excited for what promises to be an outstanding addition to our program.

Magnolia may be one of the smallest Highlands in our fold, but she more than makes up for it with her beauty and personality. Her coat is rich and eye-catching, and her conformation is excellent — all wrapped into a compact frame. Because of her size, we likely won't see her first calf until 2027, but when that time comes, we expect she will produce smaller calves that are perfect for farms looking for a more modest Highland footprint.

What Magnolia lacks in stature, she makes up for in spirit. She's a lively little spitfire, always full of energy and personality, and she never fails to make an impression on everyone who visits the ranch.

Magnolia is proof that greatness doesn't always come in a large package — she's small, stylish, and unforgettable.

Mooana is a beautiful black mini (*) highland heifer with red highlights. Her genetic testing shows one copy of dominant black and one copy of recessive red. 

She is A2/A2 and Chondro Negative. 

Her birth weight was 39# and birth height of 23". 

Her dam was Daisy of Cyrus Ridge measuring 42", and her sire was Diesel of Cyrus Ridge measuring 38.5" (3 years old at measurement). 

She can be shy, but warms up quickly and loves treats/brushing.

*no breeder can completely predict mature heights, and we do not breed miniature cattle.  While it is unlikely she will exceed 42" based on her parentage and growth trajectory to date, we recognize that it is possible and potential buyers should be aware of this when purchasing any mini cattle.

Moonlight is the more compact version of Soco, a beautiful brindle heifer.  A calm and curious observer, but also a very vocal member of our fold.  We were excited about her future contributions to Rohloff Ranch, but destiny had a different plan for her.  The farm that purchased Rohloff Ranch Theo (our first bull calf) really wanted a heifer to go with him, so we decided Moonlight would be the best pairing for them.  We will be watching them closely, as they have a bright future with Teufelhorn Farm & Cattle.

Nixy is a stunning red heifer with soft blond highlights that give her a refined, eye-catching appearance. She is ultrafeminine in her build, with strong bone structure, a trim brisket, and fluid, athletic movement that sets her apart. Elegant and well-balanced, Nixy embodies the classic Highland look with a touch of grace all her own.

Her pedigree is equally impressive. Nixy's dam, Jolene of Black Powder, is a Canadian import, bringing with her the increasingly valued Tatlayoko genetics. Her granddam, Delight of Tatlayoko, is a highly sought-after import cow known for passing along quality and consistency. On her sire's side, LSK Chestnut contributes a lineage filled with proven impact sires and dams, making Nixy a blend of both elegance and genetic strength.

Piper is a stunning young white heifer with a bright future ahead of her. From the moment she arrived, she carried herself with a dominating presence — one that suggests she is destined to become the matriarch of her own fold as she matures.

What makes Piper especially endearing is her intelligence and curiosity. She is one of our most inquisitive Highlands, always eager to explore her surroundings and interact with the world around her.

Piper is also a product of embryo transfer technology — while she is 100% purebred Highland, with Highland genetics, she was carried and birthed by an Angus cow. Ripple is a striking Dun heifer and one of the more robust, full-figured girls in our fold. She combines strength and presence with a straightforward, no-nonsense personality — yet she has always remained approachable and friendly, making her a farm favorite among visitors and family alike.

With her strong build and balanced temperament, Ripple represents the classic traits we value in our Highlands. We are especially excited for her future as a brood cow, and we look forward to welcoming her first calf in 2026.

SoCo is a standout heifer with a striking brindle coat — a color that always draws attention in the pasture. Even at just 16 months old, she already weighs 600 pounds, showing the size and substance that will make her an impressive mature cow. With her strength and frame, we are looking forward to some hefty calves from SoCo, with her first expected in 2026.

Though she is a little more reserved than her pasture mate Ripple, SoCo carries herself with a quiet strength and calm intensity. Her combination of presence, growth, and temperament makes her an exciting addition to our breeding program and a heifer we are especially proud of at Rohloff Ranch Highlands.
